FedEx Indianapolis

Indianapolis International Airport, the 20th largest cargo airport in the nation, is home to the world's second-largest FedEx hub.

Indianapolis has been named the "Crossroads of America" because of its superior accessibility. It has the most interstate coverage of any city in the nation (accessible via routes 65, 70, 69, and 74) allowing 75% of the U.S. and Canadian populations to be reached within a one-day drive. Five rail lines bisect the city, providing a variety of affordable freight and distribution options. Additionally, the Indianapolis International Airport, which opened a new $1 billion terminal in 2008, is the 20th largest cargo airport in the nation and home to the world's second-largest FedEx hub.

The state of Indiana is committed to creating an infrastructure that facilitates economic growth. Recent legislation has allowed the state to launch the "Major Moves" program which will provide $12 billion in funding for comprehensive infrastructure improvements by 2015.
